Thank You for the Food Drive!!

Thanks for the Emergency Food Drive!!

We do share the bounty of the Lord!   This past weekend St. Francis Parish Food Drive collected and delivered 591 bags of groceries to these organizations: Hope Clinic, Catholic Social Services of Northside Community Center, Foundations Preschool of Ann Arbor, and Corpus Christi Parish in Detroit.    Thank you for shopping and assisting with this drive.  We especially thank Zach Damon of Eagle Scout Alumni of Michigan (NESA) and Scout Troop 27 of St. Francis Parish, and our volunteer food drive coordinator, Mary Hayden with St. Vincent Service Committee of St. Francis Parish.  Thanks to all who worked to move and deliver:  Scott Wright, Mary Hayden, Jake Rademacher, Sean Novara, Nathan Mouliere, Annabel Hollenshead, Brian ONeil, Mario Martinez Lozoya Family, Arlene Aquino, Harold Aquino, Achilles Aquino, Mike Paradis, Carol Paradis, Katherine Stewart, Kat Stewart, Kathleen Kubis, Chris Kempton Family, & Caleb Raymond.    Zach Damon said, "My hope is that St. Francis and Troop 27 may continue to work together on the Parish Food Drive strengthening the principles of faith and community service which we both strive to uphold."

A Quick Thank You from the Hope Clinic

To all of the wonderful participants of the St. Francis November Food Drive:

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your efforts to support the food banks in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti!   Thank you to all of those who spent the time to shop (and donate) groceries, and a special thank you goes to those who helped load cars and trucks and deliver groceries to the food banks on Sunday November 15th!

The Hope Clinic was overjoyed by the generosity of the St. Francis community; the pantry has been busy meeting the needs of the community over the past few weeks, and needed a boost.   To say that the donations from St. Francis filled the pantry shelves to the brim would be an understatement - please see the attached photos!   The incredible donation from St. Francis will allow the Hope Clinic to serve those in need during the upcoming winter season made more difficult by the ongoing Covid Pandemic.

May God bless you all for your tremendous support of those in need!
Sincerely,
Brian O'Neil
