Special Collection October 21, 2012, at St. Francis, Ann Arbor,
for ArborVitae Women's Center:
Did you know that ArborVitae Women's Center was founded 40 years ago by Patricia Kay, a member of St. Francis Parish and has grown to become the first pro-life medical center serving the greater Ann Arbor area? ArborVitae Women's Center supports women who are facing unexpected pregnancies. In a beautiful, comfortable environment, our caring staff and well-trained volunteers provide programs that empower women with the knowledge, tools, and caring support needed to embrace bright futures and make healthy, life-affirming decisions.
ArborVitae recognizes that swift access to quality medical services and counsel can be essential to any abortion-vulnerable woman confronted with an unplanned pregnancy. As a result, we provide lab-grade pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound, pregnancy options counseling, spiritual support, community referrals and material support. All services are offered confidentially, respectfully and free of charge.
Along with its community partners ArborVitae also provides vital childhood necessities like diapers, food, formula, clothing, and cribs. This array of medical, spiritual and material resources has helped many women not only choose life for their babies, but welcome the lives they've chosen!
Since ArborVitae's inception the St. Francis Parish community has been our partner in saving lives. Your generous response to this special collection will ensure we can continue saving the lives of babies at risk for abortion. For more information on donations or volunteer opportunities, visit www.AnnArborVitae.com or call (734) 994-8863. Thank you for your kind generosity!
Envelopes are provided in your church pew on the weekend of the collection.
