Home Repairs with Christmas in Action
On Saturday, April 30, all day long our team of 28 volunteers “ministered” to the needs of one of our neighbors here in Ann Arbor, a homeowner who is a low-income, elderly person. We also did lots of yard work as well as repairing and cleaning-up the home. (Also, on the day prior to Christmas in Action, we prepared meals for all the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Day of Action volunteers - Approx 200 volunteers, from various organizations/congregations, working on 8 different homes.) Special thanks to our house leader, Brian O'Neil, and to everyone, both, those who prepared meals the day prior, as well as, those who made the Home Repairs happen: Jack Bennett, Jackson Bennett, Keith Calleja, Barbara Chagnovich, Celia Chagnovich, Elizabeth Conway, Megan Conway, Claire Dahl, Daniel Demlow, Thomas DuRussel-Weston, Diane Gledhill, Colette Hamel, John Hamel, Ryan Higgins, Mary LeMire, Theresa MacLean, Joan Meagher, Amanda Murau, Brian O'Neil, Allie Pardon, Patricia Pardon, Eric Parker, Lisa Parker, Rachel Parker, Stuart Parker, Ryan Polgar, Steve Polgar Olivia Smith, Tricia Suttmann.
