Sunny Days Sweepin' the Clouds Away for SOS Kids


We need volunteers for SOS Sunny Days. Sunny Days is an 8 week summer activities program for at-risk and homeless children in Washtenaw County.

Kids have the opportunity to do arts and crafts, reading, writing, and participate in a variety of field trips such as a tour of the Detroit Institute of Art, visiting Domino's Petting Farm, and much more!

Help brighten a child's summer by volunteering!

The program runs from 9am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Sunny Days is June 21 to August 13.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

-Ride in vans with staff and children to pick up, drop off and go on field trips.
-Help with set up and participate in daily activities.
-Have Fun!


Sunny Days volunteers will be required to commit to 2 days per week and to attend a weekly Wednesday staff meeting. After signing up to volunteer you will be asked to attend a 3 hour training will be required for our Sunny Days volunteers.

SOS Needs Your Help!

Kids' Music CDs: SOS Time for Tots day care needs kids' music on CDs. The teaching staff want to get the kids learning and singing to enhance their memory and motor skills. They are looking for music from artists such as the Wiggles, Greg & Steve, Raffi, They Might Be Giants, and Verve Pipe.
